A classic
You can never take away a French's right to outdoor seating. Not even in the winter. This is Le Nemrod.

Boarding the early AF flight to Paris to meet up with Sarah. This 6 am flight has been with me since 2009. And the gate 63 has been the same for years.

Surviving the 1.0
Dayz is finally "out" of its beta. DAYZ 1.0 was released on December 13. Me, Philippe (Paris, France), Trevor (San Francisco, US) and Reilly (Los Angeles, US) have played co-op all day today. Choppy, but fun as hell.

Ray Tracing is here. But...
Tim has played Battlefield 5 with Ray Tracing. But is the RTX 2080 Ti really ready for the job?

Our new Governor
Gavin Newsom is our new governor. He is going to take the helm of the fifth largest economy in the world: California. California is the richest and poorest state in America. That is one of the challenges that Newsom is encountering. The 3 big H: Housing, Homelessness & Health. We wish you good luck, buddy.

Happy gaming Halloween
A spooky midterms 2018 is coming up next week. Why don't you gear up (or brace yourself) with some of those games you kinda wanted when they came out but never bought? Steam Halloween sale is at full swing. O, and Happy Halloween btw.

Janky mechanics but great exploration
Many fans of the Fallout franchise are still uncertain of the single player experience of Fallout 76. Here are some thoughts from the staff at Gamespot:

Sustainable trip
On my way back to Stockholm after a work trip to Ubi/Massive in Malmö. Train ride this time around. Slower but comfortable and more sustainable :-)

Steve is quick to respond to Jay's 15K in Time Spy Extreme. What about dumping the radiator in ice water and sprinkle some salt over it?

Labor Day weekend traveling
It's September 1st and time to go back to Europe (Copenhagen) again. Sarah departed for HongKong already at 1.05pm on her annual 7-week work trip. Now I'm gonna go grab one of them burgers I know they serve here. All veggie, of course.

Maya Halal Taqueria in Oakland is good. So good walls will probably be built around their food - according to themselves.

The dog Walter jumped into the water to chase some pelicans. It was impossible to get him ashore, so the park ranger had to step in.

But what happens when the 7nm comes?
Good morning ya'll. Not much sleep because of rays tracing over your eye lids? The partner cards at MSI do sure look badass. But click below on Steve's take on yesterday's Nvidia announcement. He's a bit concerned.

Nothing left for the partners?
Today the new Nvidia Turing graphics cards were formally announced. Big changes (?). Are they going to make it harder for the partners with the new dual cooler already on the FE? Steve at Gamers Nexus goes into the details.

On top of Nob Hill is our anniversary home
We often celebrate our anniversary at the Top of the Mark by having a nice dinner. This time around we decided to also stay the night here. Why not? The view over Huntington Park is lovely.

The roof shingles on the upper part of our house look great. Shame we have to re-do parts of it because of the teardown. And the wires... look at the wires honey. Did your mom install them like this back in the day?

No pun intended
At Bella Lucca on Geary in San Francisco you can get vegetarian (!) falafels. Seriously? If you need to state the obvious you should tell the customers your bacon is made out of pork, too. Vegetarians aren't as stupid as you think.

Children's memorial statue
Throughout America, tragic acts of violence against children are occurring with increasing frequency and senselessness, destroying innocent lives and devastating families and communities.
This statue in Oakland is dedicated to all children who die from maltreatment and violence each year signaling our determination to end this needless loss.
