Progress
Gotta love the tweet Videocardz posted the other day on Nvidias "roadmap", after the very peculiar announcement of their rtx 2050.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We have a lot to be grateful of, but before the world's "done" we have a ton of things to do. Start with yourself. You dig it?

Yummi (?)
On my flight back to Sweden I got some grilled tofu. It was dry and tasted like... nothing. But what can you expect. Sarah left for Washington DC already yesterday.

Man's best friend
An accurate artistic representation of the dog in our alley. He's all black in real life, but with a personality just as colorful as in this mural :-)

Too hot today, even at sea level
Ridiculously hot today (40C/104F). I'm at one of the restaurants on the boardwalk and sweat is pouring down my neck. Sarah gets headache when it's too hot, so she's staying at home with an unlimited supply of iced tea.

Roof living
Just struck us the other day that the locals who live down by the harbor have their garden on the roof. Cool!

You shall (not) pass!
A restaurant down at the yacht club has these strange creatures guarding their entrance. A perfect example of how nature can provide the most awesome things to add that little "extra" to it. We're definitely going to copy this for our own house in Sausalito.

Quaint living
We're ditching the hotels and renting a little house for a change. Complete with the local atmosphere: steep stairs, dogs barking, cats meowing, kids playing in the alleys and laundry flapping from every line like when you were a kid. Gotta love it!

Your no. 1 fan
Sarah worked late yesterday and couldn't pick me up at the airport. But she remembered to keep the fan on in our rental as I had requested. A fan with a very peculiar brand name. At least for someone who understands Swedish...

Mask up
It's July the 7th and I'm going back to Spain. This time around they have ditched the PCR as well as the rapid test as a prerequisite for crossing the border. But it's still mandatory to wear face mask on the plane.

A burrito joint
My last lunch in Stockholm before returning to Spain to meet up with Sarah again. This place have been on my radar for a while. They serve burritos. Mission style. And they are totally OK. Remind me of the run of the mill burritos of the Chipotle Mexican Grill in the US.

American pizza - Swedish style
Just had an "American pan pizza" at a local eatery in Järfälla, Sweden. Not the best. But at least they were generous with the mozzarella cheese. In Sweden, you don't encounter that every day. It's like mozzarella is an exclusive thing, or something.

Lots of water...
It's rare to be able to see downtown Stockholm during approach. But because of heavy turbulence we had a different route than the regular one.

A calima is approaching. You can tell from the stuffy and milky air. Tomorrow we're expecting close to 100 degrees (37 degrees centigrade).

Anfi del Mar
Anfi del Mar is slowly but surely beginning to wake up from the pandemic. Although most of the people are locals, the tourists are finding their way back to their favorite getaway.

My sunshine
Sarah doesn't like it when I snapshot her without her knowing it. This is on a small community beach in Arguineguin, a small town situated in the far south of the island.

Finally we get to meet
Sarah has managed to snatch a work permit in Spain. She is so happy to be able to fly out of the country. And as my government has yet to let me fly to the US fully insured, I'll be meeting up with wifey in Spain next week. First time in 18 months!!

Shake-N-Out
Sarah went to the first Shake Shack in SF the other day. Better than In-N-Out? Try it out yourself. The City is finally opening up again :-)

Bye Dad!
Last Sunday we said our last goodbyes to our dear father. It was special. Our family is special. We see humor in sadness and the grand thing in the little thing. Dad was a quirky individual, especially to all who didn't know him. And he was extremely individualistic yet sensed everything that was constructive around him and had a strong will, a good heart and great determination. Traits that is a trademark of our family. Thanks dad for all and everything.
