Good 'ol Sausalito ferry

It's only a 25-minute ferry ride from San Francisco to Sausalito, but if you wanna grab a beer, a glass of wine or even a cocktail - it's all being provided for.

Grabbed a burrito earlier today at the Tacos Mi Rancho at 1st Avenue. It's only a food truck, though extremely popular and the line is long but definitely worth the wait.

Not on my bucket list

Our neighbors Lee and Ashley on their paddling boards down at the Marina in Sausalito. They seem to have totally forgotten we have great white sharks in our waters around here.

No pun intended

At Bella Lucca on Geary in San Francisco you can get vegetarian (!) falafels. Seriously? If you need to state the obvious you should tell the customers your bacon is made out of pork, too. Vegetarians aren't as stupid as you think.

Throughout America, tragic acts of violence against children are occurring with increasing frequency and senselessness, destroying innocent lives and devastating families and communities.

This statue in Oakland is dedicated to all children who die from maltreatment and violence each year signaling our determination to end this needless loss.
