Eerie

The 416-bed hotel Sir Francis Drake Hotel in downtown San Francisco, where I stayed on my first visit to The City in 2009, is boarded up and empty. Spooky.

Beyond New York

Had another try at Bastard Burger, this time around at their downtown location. A "Beyond New York". Not as good as at their Farsta location, but still good enough.

Haight Street, San Francisco amid Coronageddon.

Yes, it's good

Bastard Burgers are a street food vendor in Sweden with that right quality attitude to "fast" food. They claim their inspiration is from the US but with their own "Northern Sweden" twist. I don't know what the hell that is, but their vegan burgers are close to top notch. I have only had one burger that was better, and that was at Vegan Burg in the Haight & Ashbury district of San Francisco.
